Q: What is the Consignment Split?
A: The consignor will receive 40% of the selling price for their items in store credit or 40% in cash. Our Consignment for a Cause partners will receive 40% of the selling price of items donated to their accounts.
Q: What is the Consignment for a Cause program?
A: Consignment for a Cause is an alternative source of funding for non-profit organizations. Where consignment clothing is donated to the organizations account and the organization receives 40% off the selling price for items.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: Store credit is available at anytime during regular store hours. Consignment payout are available upon request from the consignor by e-transfer or cheque. Cheques and e-transfers are done on the 15th of every month, requests must be made at least 2 days prior.
Q: How do I bring in my items for Consignment?
A: For individuals wanting to consign their own items: Bring you items in nicely folded and in bags or boxes. No Hangers please. We will transfer your items to our bins. There is a 3 bag drop off limit per day. For Consignment for a Cause drop offs: Bring in items in bags or boxes.
Q: Does the balance on my account expire?
A: Account balances are available for 1 year from the date of drop off.
Q. How long do consignment items remain in the store before they get donated?
A: All consigned items stay in our store for 90 days. If items have not sold in 90 days, we donate them to charity.
Q: How long until my consigned item(s) go on sale?
A: We put consignment items on sale if it is not sold in the first 30-45 days. The items are then marked down 50%. Although it is not a normal occurrence, we reserve the right to put items on sale before 30 days for flash sales and events.
Q: Do you return unsold items to the Consignor?
A: We donate all unsold items to Charitable Organizations with the exception of high designer fashions ( Gucci, Louis Vuitton ect). Returns must be agreed to at the time of drop off.
Q: Who is your charity of choice?
A: We donate all of our unsold consignment items to the Making Changes program as well as to the Women In Need society.
Q. Where can I Park?
A: We have free parking in behind our building and a back entrance. On weekends and after 6 pm you can park on the street in front of our store on Edmonton Trail. There is also a City parking lot a few doors north of the store and 2 hour street parking on the side streets.
